Conexo

How might we help healthcare workers keep IV lines clean in order to reduce preventable bloodstream infections?

Conexo is a flexible barrier that protects both the inserting and receiving luer lock components from contamination.

This intravenous line guard is made up of two adapters: one for the inserting end and one for the receiving end. The two adaptors ideally work together, but they can also function independently, and be used in conjunction with sanitizing caps. Conexo is made from a flexible yet durable thermoplastic (Methyl Methacrylate Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or MABS) that is resistant to wear and tear and easy to clean.
