Aorta Endovascular Task Trainer

A 1:1 scale model of the aorta starts at the aortic root and descends past the bifurcation and includes the left and right common iliac arteries. An artificial access port has been placed bilaterally on the external iliacs. The model is hollow and translucent. This allows for the learner to practice and directly observe catheterization. Targets include traversing the aortic bifurcation, and cannulating the left/right common/internal/external iliac arteries, left/right subclavian, left/right common carotid, spenic, common hepatic, superior mesenteric, and lef/right renal. Posts have been added to allow for the model to be stabilized on a flat surface using suction cups.
